LegoLand (last one!)

Daniel took this picture.

I wish we could put this in our backyard.  It had all sorts of tubes pushing really soft balls all around and popping them out.

Both Daniel and Josh received their driver's license from "Driver School".

LegoLand (continued)

Those are Lego animals, all around the park.

Daniel and Josh really enjoyed meeting "Stormer", one of the Lego Hero Factory Heros.  Since we were there on a weekday, they pretty much had the room themselves.

LegoLand!

We promised the boys we would go to LegoLand.  And, after a late winter storm threatened (and turned out to be nothing), we made it down to sunny Orlando.  Josh and Daniel had a great time at LegoLand, both looking at the Legos and riding the rides.  It's been a long time since I was on a roller coaster....

The Tooth Fairy Came!!!

On February 27th, Daniel lost his first tooth!!  It was really loose in the morning and we tried to, gently, pull it out, but no luck. While Daniel was at school it just fell out.  He surprised his teachers by walking up to them and saying "tooth".  Wow, his first tooth!  At age 4.5...

Hand On Fun at the Naval Museum

We took Grandpa Chuck with us to the Naval Museum.  It's good to bring Grandpa because his ID lets you drive right onto the grounds, no problem.  Turns out the Naval Museum is great fun.  Lots of stuff to try, and a great place to visit on a cold Presidents Day.

Last, but not least

We stopped in Brooklyn for lunch and funny faces with Uncle Ben.

Grand Central

We went to the Whispering Wall in Grand Central Station, ate Dim Sum, rode the subway and played at Central Park.  It was chilly, but we didn't let it stop us.  It was great fun to see our friends.  We wish they lived closer!

More in NYC

We saw dinosaurs, Balto and an installation where you swing on the swings and it makes the large white cloth in the middle flow and swirl around.

Visiting NYC with the Aussies

We met up with John and Gray in NYC for a few days.  Daniel's favorite thing was the comfy bed in the hotel room.  The boys got along great, sharing a love of Mincraft and other apps.

Homemade Football Helmet

Daniel wanted to make a football helmet and this is the creation he and Scott created.  Definitely not approved for a game, but great for some indoor play.
