Daniel Plays T-Ball

 

 

 

Daniel is playing t-ball.  Yes, he's only 3 (but closer to 4) and there is a t-ball.  He is playing on team "Thunder" with his friends from pre-school.  The first game invovled a little running the bases, a little social time, some hitting and then... being a grump and eating snacks in the outfield.  But, it was a beautiful day for a little t-ball.

First Grade Monument Project

 

Josh worked on his first school project that weekend.  Of course, we knew about it for at least 3 weeks but waited until the last one to do the project.  Visions of years of dioramas flashed in my head when Josh got the homework assignment.  I have to go through this again?  After a slow start, Josh made a monument to Ben Franklin.  That's a Franklin Stove on the left and lightning rod on the right (which Ben Franklin is not holding, it just looks like that in the picture).  Thank goodness Scott has the patience to work with all of Josh's "details".

Easter Egg Hunt 2012

 

We hosted the "block" egg hunt this year.  We "hid" 290 eggs around our yard which 16 kids eagerly descended on.  When you have 290 eggs to hide, a number of them are just laying around in the yard!  Daniel and Josh are still consuming their candy.
