Haircut

One more picture of Daniel with his haircut. This is his first real haircut and I'd call it a success. I thought it was going to be a screaming nightmare. Turns out. a lollipop was all it took to keep Daniel quiet and still during the whole thing.

Two Handsome Boys

One is making a silly face and one has milk dripping everywhere, but they both have haircuts and are oh so handsome.

Our First Geocache

Finally, slightly warmer weather! Now that we have a GPS (thanks Grandpa and Nana) we thought it would be fun to try geocaching. Of course I forgot my camera so this picture is from my phone (which does not take great pictures). It was close to home and a lot of fun to find. We sort of went the long way by accident, but we got to walk in a muddy field and cross a stream. We put in a tiny stuffed animal and took out a little thing of play-doh. Josh really wanted the pencil that was in the baggie with the geocache log, but he settled for the play-doh instead. We hope to do a lot more geo-caching as it gets warmer.

Big Truck

Daniel loves the "big truck" that Cousin Kevin gave to Josh for x-mas. Daniel carries it around and says "big truck" then hits the music button and focuses very hard on dancing. I had a hard time capturing it, but Daniel is dancing in the second photo.

2009 Wrap Up

2009 was the year

• We really discovered Daniel's personality and his love of ball sports and being outside
• We made our first emergency room visit
• Learned all about dinosaurs and even more about the universe.
• Josh was completely capable of telling us exactly what he thought
• Daniel's vocabulary started to explode, although it is still a little difficult to understand
• Josh discovered gymnastics
• Daniel discovered the moon
• Josh started in a new school and discovered a love for "projects" and crafts of all kinds
• Daniel started jumping

And so much more that I have already forgotten as we raced into 2010.

Fun in the Mountains

These smores are a little messy, but very yummy. We went to the mountains with the Huddleston crew and had a nice time tubing and playing in the snow park.

Christmas, Part 1

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Steve, Aunt Carol, Cousin Kevin and Kona and Harley. There were a lot of gifts. Josh loves his Legos and Daniel the Nerf balls. Yet again, I didn't get pictures of everyone (I was too busy handing out the gifts :) )
