Snow Today

Josh saw his first snow today. Josh said "it's really cool" and "it's winter" when he saw it. Scott is helping Josh learn how to make snowballs.

Time to go to work

We've set up the basement as an office and now when Josh comes down he says he needs to "work".
Josh is "working" on his computer skills already!

It still works

Play dough still keeps Josh entertained at the new house.

We made it

We made it all the way across the country and our stuff finally arrived to. It has been slightly frantic and incredibly busy, which is why I haven't updated the blog lately. I seem to be short on photos at our new house, but I'll catch up soon.

Josh has been great and taken everything in stride. He seems to like his new house and his new room. Josh and daddy came downstairs after our first night in the house and Josh said "that's my carpet", "that's my couch". And of course, "those are my toys".

Josh's favorite activities in the new house are to

• run around the living room and dining room "going fast". Josh says "chase me" and then we zoom around.
• play hide and seek and hide in the closet. It usually happens like this "Where's Josh, is he in the bedroom? No. Is he in the bathroom? No?" Then Josh says "I'm in here" and he gets very excited when you find him.

The move

It's time for the move. Josh declared this was the biggest truck he'd ever seen. And, he's right, it might have been the largest the truck we'd ever seen at the top of our hill.

Play-dough

One thing we learned while packing for our move, give Josh some play dough and some trains and he will be busy for the next hour. The colors don't stay separated for long, but it is fun to push the trains through!

Good helper

Josh liked to help us pack up with the move. He was particularly good at pushing boxes around. But, I think his favorite activity was to play with bubble wrap.

Friends

Our last trip with Josh's friend Colin to the Discovery Museum. We miss Colin already, because what can be more fun that pushing trucks around with your friend!
