Visit to the zoo

We went to the zoo on Sunday morning. It was little cold and not crowded at all.

Guess what Josh's favorite part was... the train! And second favorite... the playground!

New Things

Here is a 15 month+ update on Josh:

Josh is walking! We're not sure what it was but he just decided to start walking yesterday evening. It's a Frankenstein walk and he needs his hands out for balance, but he's doing it! Josh is talking! Well, a few words and babbling constantly. He will grab something, hold it out to you and say a few sentences and then go back to what he was doing. If we only knew what those sentences were. A few words that he says

• dog
• car
• night-night
• risotto "soto"
• moon
• cat (maybe)
• truck in spanish, "troca"
• hola
• dada
• mama (finally)
• and the ubiquitous "eh eh" for everything else

Josh is also doing some sign language with "more", "bath" and "eat". He is still eating like a garbage disposal and wants what everyone else is eating.

It feels like there is something new everyday and it's very exciting and fun. We are having a lot of fun seeing what happens each day, in between trying to get Josh to nap.

We started the trip with dad's side of the family. Grandma and grandpa took Josh to the petting zoo. And, Josh was having a lot of fun with Cheerios on our (long) drive up to New York.
