Daniel's Talking

Not quite 10 months old and Daniel says
  • ball (all day long and over and over and over again)
  • car
  • dog
  • "ga" - haven't figured out what this one is yet.

Play Time

As Josh would say, "playing cars is good to do".

Miscellaney

  • Josh's current favorite game is "police car". This is when you run around and the Josh say's he is the police car and gives you a ticket. You are then supposed to throw the ticket away and run away so that he has to give you another ticket and take away your driver's license.

  • A recent conversation with Josh:

  • Mommy: "Do you hear that helicopter?"

  • Josh: "Maybe it's Obama's helicopter? Obama's first name is Barak.

  • Daniel is definitely saying "ball". Sometimes he will repeat a sign (like milk or more) back to you, but he isn't using them to tell us anything yet.
  • Daniel wants whatever Josh is playing with. He is getting faster and faster with his crawling.
  • The other day Josh told me, "Mommy, I love you so much. It is so big you can't hold it."

No More Food Pictures, Please.

Busy

on the computer, making up words. And, playing games on the internet. Josh played an entire Thomas the Tank Engine puzzle game by himself!

T-Ball

We had Josh's first t-ball game. He is on the "Phillies", number 5. He was excited about going and lasted for most of the game. The first thing Josh did was organize all the balls by color. Pure Josh. It sure is hard to be in the outfield. T-ball for 3 year olds??? Everyone gets a chance to bat and when you are in the outfield each kid stands by a cone. Then when the ball is hit, all the kids run for the ball (sometimes even the batter) and then put the ball in the box. It was a beautiful, beautiful day for our first t-ball game. Josh hasn't quite worked out what the mitt is for, maybe by the last game?.

Cheese

It is so hard to catch Josh's smile. When he see's me with camera he turns around and I have catch that split second when he faces me, with his big cheese face of course.

Playing with Cars

Daniel is already picking up how to play with cars. And, he wants the car Josh is using, not the car Josh has given him. Listen very closely and you might be able to hear Daniel making car noises.

Quiet Time

Sometimes quiet time turns into nap time. Looking at dinosaur books is hard work, and it's best to be wrapped up in your favorite blanket.

How anybody can eat while Daddy and Josh run around the table? At least it is a lot of fun.
