Happy Hannukah

Josh now "loves, loves, loves" matzoh ball soup and the crispy part of latkes. Presents, what fun! Thank you Nana, Grandpa and Aunt Shana.

Projects

Josh loves projects. The more googly eyes and tape the better!

Basketball

Daniel loves, loves, loves basketball. We got him a basketball hoop for Hannukah. He was thrilled. "Basketball" (it sounds like bucketball), basketball, basketball is all he said all evening. As Daddy was bringing him up to bed it was "nooooooooo, basketball, noooooooooo, basketball". The next day Daniel could be found watching tv. Basketball of course.

A Kiss

Daniel sat next to Josh on the couch watching something on tv. I said "Daniel, sit right next to Josh" and Daniel leaned over and gave Josh (completely oblivious) a kiss.

First Snow

We had our first snow of the season. Josh and Daddy tried to make a snowman (actually, 2 weeks later and that snowball is still in our front yard). Daniel was very unsure about the whole snow thing. He looked at the snow and said "messy". He just wanted to be picked up. I couldn't get any smiles out of him.

Wait, one more stop

We had one unplanned stop for T-giving this year. The emergency room. Daniel managed to hit his head just so on the corner of a chair. There are two stitches underneath that bandage. As you can tell, it hasn't slowed Daniel down in any way!

Last Stop: Great Grandpa Larry's

I did a horrible job of getting pictures of Josh and Daniel with Great Grandpa and June. What do you think of Josh's sleeping arrangements? All those patterns together might have made it a little difficult.

A Family that Rocks Together...

Next stop, Uncle Ben's house for some family "Rock Band". Everybody played a little bit, even Daniel. Nana carried the band w/her vocals while Ben and Shana backed her up on guiter and bass. Daddy (with Josh's help), Grandpa and Mommy (with Daniel's help) each took a turn on drums. Fun was had by all, although Josh might have preferred a ride in Uncle Ben's car.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009

After a 4 hour trip turned 7 hours, we arrived at Aunt Cathy and Uncle Bruce's house. We had a big thanksgiving with lots of family and friends (but I only have a picture of the "kids" table). Josh and Daniel had fun treating the pool cover as a trampoline. Josh was tentative at first, Daniel just raced right out there and started jumping. Daniel also tried very hard to be a good helper and sweep up after dinner. Unfortunately, his choice of tools was not the best. Daniel's wet shirt? Yep, that's all drool. We've gotten so used to it we don't even notice anymore.

Everybody likes to color

When Daniel sees Josh's crayons Daniel says "color", although it is difficult to understand. Daniel is still learning how to "stay on the paper", which is why he has such a big piece of paper. And Daddy, well, he got caught at a weird moment, or is very sleepy.
